BARKER’S HELLRAISER: COLLECTED BEST VOL. 1 – 3
Written
& illustrated by various.
At the
height of slasher-movie mania, Clive Barker’s first two “Hellraiser”
films snuck up on people and offered viewers a highly literate, highly
psychological, and highly disturbing alternative. Focusing on the
perversions that result from the choices made when we give in to our
inner desires, the stories of Pinhead and his fellow cenobites were so
powerful that a comic series soon followed. Collected in these volumes
are the best tales from that series; tales that are just as intelligent,
and just as terrifying, as the original films were.

Written
by Jason M. Burns. Illustrated by Christopher Provencher.
Possibly cheesy, and likely cheese-cake, but might be worth reading for
the simple fact that it’s kinda hard to believe no one has done this
riff of the were-wolf story before.
FORGOTTEN REALMS: THE LEGEND OF DRIZZT VOL. 1 – 3 OMNIBUS
Written
by R.A. Salvatore. Adapted by Andrew Dabb. Illustrated by Tim Seeley.
For
years, Drizzt Do’urden has roamed Dungeon’s and Dragon’s “Forgotten
Realms” campaign setting as a heroic force of good who defied the evil
nature of his Dark Elf heritage. Now you can read the hefty tome
collecting three graphic adaptations based on the best-selling novels of
R.A. Salvatore. Steeped in intrigue, bursting with magic, and filled
with swordplay this is an origin story of epic proportions. If you’re a
fan of the character, the setting, or great epic fantasy story-telling
in general, don’t miss this book.

chalk full of extras, so it’s like buying the special edition DVD.

After

He’s been very mysterious and intriguing, and this mini should shine
some light on the character. Is he a ruthless gang lord, or a modern

For those looking for a western in the vein of
“Desperadoes”, look no further.
GREEN

Written
by Geoff Johns. Illustrated by Ivan Reis & Oclair Albert.
The
conclusion to "Secret Origin" comes to a mindblowing spectacular end!
Johns’ retelling of Hal Jordan's origin story is a well crafted, great
read. This issue sets the stage for the upcoming "Rage of the Red

just around the corner! It’s an exciting time to be a Green Lantern
fan.
JONAH
HEX #35
Written
by Jimmy Palmiotti & Justin Gray. Illustrated by J.H. Williams III.
I
recently read through Jonah Hex, and WOW! It’s great to see a series
that’s not written for the trade as many are nowadays, as it is mostly
one and done stories. Hex is a fascinating, deeply layered character
and you can tell the quality of the book by the talent it attracts.
This month we have the amazing JH Williams III on art duties and I
couldn’t think of a better fit for this supernatural western of sorts.
Give it a try you just might be surprised how much you like it.

Ragdoll, and two new as yet unrevealed members as they take us through
the seediest parts of the DC Universe.
BOOSTER
GOLD VOL 2 BLUE AND GOLD HC
Written
by Geoff Johns & Jeff Katz. Illustrated by Dan Jurgens.
One of
the best things to come out of the stellar “Justice League” series
written by Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis, was the friendship that
developed between Booster Gold and Blue Beetle. Sadly, the potential for
further adventures featuring Booster and Beetle seemed dead when Beetle
was killed just before “Infinite Crisis”. But, happily, Booster’s
transformation into a time-spanning hero in his fantastic new series,
allowed him to go back and rescue his friend, and allowed us to see the
Blue and Gold in action one more time. Bwa-ha-hah!
CAMELOT
3000 DELUXE EDITION HC
Written
by Mike W. Barr. Illustrated by Brian Bolland.
“Watchmen”, “The Dark Knight Returns”, and Camelot 3000? Yes, add this
title to your list of graphic literary masterpieces from the 1980’s.
While not cited as often as the works of Miller and Moore, this long
out of print series still stands as one of the best comic books of the
groundbreaking ‘80’s era, and is easily one of the most fascinating and
imaginative takes on Arthurian legend. Follow the exploits of the
reincarnated Knights of the Round Table as they emerge in the year 3000
to stave off an alien invasion led by Morgan Le Fay, in fulfillment of
the prophecy that states that they would return when England needs them
most. This new deluxe hardcover includes a slew of extras to entice
both new readers, and reward the series’ (very) patient pre-existing
fans.
JOKER
HC
Written
by Brian Azzarello. Illustrated by Lee Bermejo.
The
Joker escapes from Arkham only to find that other Gotham villains have
taken all of his stuff. So he sets out to take it all back. I love Lee
Bermejo’s artistic version of the Joker, and can’t wait to see his take on other
Bat-villains. If you think “The Killing Joke” was the most powerful
Joker tale, you will not want to miss this one!
TEEN
TITANS YEAR ONE TP
Written
by Amy Wolfram. Illustrated by Karl Kerschl & Serge LaPointe.
If you
didn’t pick up the single issues of this fantastic mini-series, make
sure you get this collection. This revamped origin story is written by
a writer from the Warner Brothers Animation Studio and excellent artist
Karl Kerschl. I especially dig Kerschl’s zombie-like Aqualad.
WATCHMEN HC
Written
by Alan Moore. Illustrated by Dave Gibbons.
The
movie is on its way, so why not milk a new potential fanbase even more
with a new hardcover? This volume collects the series as well as some
(but not all) of the bonus features previously only available in the
Absolute Watchmen collection which was a direct reprint of the
leather-bound edition. Wouldn't it be great if this was the first
comic book movie that when it came to DVD sales, the powers that be
decided to only make the DVD only available with the purchase of the
graphic novel? Yes, I know it would never happen. But think
of the exposure the comic book medium would get. It would not
matter to most that one may already own a copy of the Watchmen, heck
most of us already have more than one copy and or version.
VERTIGO
GREATEST HITS #1 (of 6)
Written
by David Tischman. Illustrated by Glenn Fabry.
Imagine
a group of super-heroes much like the Beatles, and you get the idea of
this series.
This series will follow these heroes through the decades,
as their fame and stature grows, and could be quite trippy, in the best
possible way.
MADAME
XANADU #4
Written
by Matt Wagner. Illustrated by Amy Reeder Hadley.
The
origin story of one of DC’s premiere mystics also serves as a wonderful
exploration of the nature of magic in general. Featuring strong writing
by Wagner and sumptuously illustrated by rising star Hadley, Madame
Xanadu is everything a Vertigo fan could want as our heroine crosses
both time and space in her mystical adventures.
SCALPED
#21
Written
by Jason Aaron. Illustrated by. R.M. Guerra.
Alright
this month I shall elaborate on why you should be picking up one of the
best vertigo series on the racks. First of all there are so many
goddamn twists and turns in this book you never know what’s going to
happen when you turn the page. Secondly, Dashiell Badhorse is one of
the most badass characters you’ll ever meet. Thirdly, you’ve never
entered the corrupt world of Indian reservations before, and believe me
it’s the seediest place you’ll want to be every month. Yes even seedier
than East Hastings! This series is as hardcore as crack and that’s why
I consider it so damn addictive. Now go and check this bad boy out.
VINYL
UNDERGROUND #12
Written
by Si Spencer. Illustrated by Simon Gane & Ryan Kelly.
Alas,
this is the final issue of this well written series that unfortunately
never quite caught on.
HELLBLAZER: THE FAMILY MAN TP
Written
by Jamie Delano. Illustrated by various.
After
realizing that the Ennis, Carey, Azzarello, Ellis, and Mina runs on the
series were well represented in trade format, Vertigo has finally
started releasing collected editions of Jamie Delano’s stint, the one
that started it all. In one of the more captivating, and disturbing,
arcs from that run, John Constantine comes face to face with a deranged
serial killer known only as The Family Man.
NORTHLANDERS VOL. 1: SVEN THE RETURNED TP
Written
by Brian Wood. Illustrated by Davide Gianfelice.
A new
Viking comic about Sven, a Viking who comes back to his homeland to find
that everything is messed up. Sven is upset about the way things are,
and will no doubt solve his personal problems in the calm, measured
diplomacy the Vikings are famous for. Northlanders is like “Deadwood”,
but with Vikings. For all the trade waiters out there, it’s time to
check out Viking hack and slash, Brian Wood style. If you like visceral
stories, look no further.
WILDSTORM
EX
MACHINA VOL. 7: EX CATHEDRA TP
Written
by Brian K. Vaughan. Illustrated by Tony Harris.
One of
the titles that solidified Brian K. Vaughan’s status as an elite writer,
Ex Machina is still going strong as it pits Mayor Michael Hundred, the
former “The Great Machine”, against foes both super-villainous and
political. This volume includes a juicy arc involving Hundred’s visit
with the Pope and the assassin who tries to off him.

BROOKLYN #1 (of 5)
Written
by Garth Ennis & Jimmy Palmiotti. Illustrated by Mihailio Yukelic.
This is

DRAGON
PRINCE #1
Written
by Ron Marz. Illustrated by Lee Moder.
With
Crossgen Comics’ “Scion” and “Sojourn”, Ron Marz showed he could write
exciting epic fantasies filled with well rounded characters and layer
upon layer of drama and intrigue. This latest opus should prove to be
no exception. Here, Marz presents us with the story of Aaron Chiang, a
teenager who discovers that he is the Dragon Prince, the last of his
kind and heir to the bloodline of all dragons. Dragons? Martial arts?
I’m there!
FOUR
EYES #1
Written
by Joe Kelly. Illustrated by Max Fiumara.
Evidently this series takes place in some kind of alternate history
where there are dragons during the Great Depression. I have no idea
where it will go, but it sounds like a pretty cool mix.
WITCHBLADE #121
Written
by Ron Marz. Illustrated by Stjepan Sejic.
In Ron
Marz’s hands, Witchblade has transformed from a semi-gratuitous
superheroine book filled with cheesecake and standard storylines, into a
gritty and gripping supernatural police procedural. Sara Pezzini has
never been more intriguing and, as drawn by Sejic, has never looked so
good. In this issue, Sara and her partner Patrick Gleason investigate
mysterious deaths within a cloistered Jewish community … deaths that may
be the result of an ancient evil force.
YOUNGBLOOD: BLOODSPORT #2
Written
by Mark Millar. Illustrated by Rob Liefeld.
Rob
returns to his creation that helped launch Image, and he brings with him
superstar Mark Millar. Bloodsport #2 is the long awaited (and we mean
several years now), much anticipated chapter in the carnage filled
saga. And if you missed out on part #1, don’t worry because also
available is Youngblood: Bloodsport #1 Director's Cut.

entire story all at once.

Mike Allred can tell it. This is a sure thing for music aficionados,
and for anyone who enjoys Mike’s stuff.
MARVEL COMICS HIGHLIGHTSHTS
CIVIL WAR: HOUSE OF M #1 (OF 5)
Written by Christos Gage. Illustrated by Andrea Di Vito.
Like last year’s pretty good “House of M: Avengers” series, this
mini-series looks to provide some significant background to the
world of House of M. If nothing else, it will be pretty cool to
finally see how the alternate universe Magneto conquers the
world.
DAREDEVIL #111
Written by Ed Brubaker. Illustrated by Clay Mann. 50/50 Covers
by Marko Djurdjevic & Terry Dodson.
The femininization (if you’ll allow us to invent a brand new
word) of classic Marvel characters continues, with the
introduction of Lady Bullseye. Who is Lady Bullseye? Where
does she come from? Is she friend or foe? And what does she
want with Matt Murdock / Daredevil? This issue presents you
with the perfect point to jump onboard and see just how good
Brubaker’s Daredevil is.
DEAD OF NIGHT
Devil
Slayer by Brian Keene and Chris Samnee.
Marvel gives the Devil Slayer a modern update, pitting poor
despondent Sergeant Sylva against all of Iraq. Possessed of the
Demon Belathauzar, this man who's faith and family have been
shattered by hatred find himself manipulated into acting as the
instrument of the destruction of men. Talk about a bad day.
DEADPOOL #1 & #2
Written by Daniel Way. Illustrated by Paco Medina. Cover by
Clayton Crain. Variant Covers by Rob Liefeld & Ed McGuiness.
The merc with the mouth
(which by the way I think is a stupid tag line, every single
other merc in comics also have mouths, Deathstroke – mouth,
Bullseye – mouth, Maverick – mouth, etc…)
finally returns to his own series, deadlier and more deranged
then ever, and he’s just in time to land right in the middle of
the Skrull Invasion (which isn’t quite so secret anymore, is
it?). And as an added bonus for all you Deadpool fans, issue #2
ships in September as well, a mere two weeks after the first
issue. And if that isn’t enough excitement, there’s a Rob
Liefeld variant cover! Really!
This
issues sees a conflicted
Deadpool, having finally shed the fat that is Cable,
trying to decide whether to bother saving humanity from those
pesky Skrulls or just enjoying a game of Uno with the voices in
his head… a lot like how James spends most Saturday nights.
KING SIZED CABLE SPECTACULAR #1
By
Ken Lashley and Duane Swierczynski
Now
that he has shed the baggage that is Deadpool and the less than
desired artwork of his self proclaimed creator who to this day
drives Ethan will never respect, Cable provides yet another
great jumping on point for fans of Nathan Summers, Bishop, or
any Burger King promotion, and yes you can get fries with this …
just not from us. Focusing on the story from the point of view
of that jerk Bishop, we get to explore this time hopping Bugs
Bunny vs Elmer Fud tale once more with all the same pizzazz that
made the first arc so enticing.
GENE
COLAN TRIBUTE #1
Marvel looks to celebrate their glorious past with this
anthology featuring the greatest works of this influential
talent. Reprinting his runs on
Howard the Duck, Daredevil and Dracula (apparently Gene
only ever worked on things starting with the letter D). This
book should not be mistaken for the R rated cult hit "A Tribute
to Gene's (Simmons) Colan" which oddly enough, still features
Howard the Duck.
MARVEL ILLUSTRATED: THE ODYSSEY #1 (of 8)
Written by Roy Thomas. Illustrated by Greg Tocchini.
Here’s why you shouldn’t have comics in the classroom. Marvel
Previews says “Based on the epic poem by Alexandre Dumas.”
Can’t figure out why that sentence is funny? Congratulations,
you’re a Dumas, too.
MARVEL APES #1
By
people with too much time walking on their hands.
Yet
another spectacular series form the house of BAD ideas. Spider
- Monkey? Really? Yes really. Did you know that there was
a study done on comics that determined what was the number one
thing that sold comics. The answer was monkies. Let me
know when they do Marvel Zombie Apes, now that I would read.
Yes
that's right this is the 33rd time the Joe Quesada
felt the need to not so subtly remind you that if he hadn't come
along and re-envisioned the likes of Daredevil and Bullseye the
Marvel Universe as a whole would have collapsed, leaving a black
hole in the creative fabric of modern pop culture that would
have eventually grown into a horrible vacuum that would have
destroyed the known world and erased all trace of humanity form
existence. Let us all take a moment to thank whichever god
you pray to, that he or she saw fit to grace us with "The
Quesada".
NAMOR: THE DEPTHS
By
Esad Ribic and Peter Milligan
These
are the adventures of the Submarine Ship Voyager. It's
mission, to seek out one lost world, not piss off the Prince of
Atlantis, and make Namor cool again (assuming he was actually
cool before).
Ribic
and Milligan team up to bring you the story of a deep sea
adventurer who is searching for another deep sea adventurer who
was lost after possibly running afoul of Namor. Probably bad
mouthed the Invisible Woman, or was laughing about the Dairy
Queen add where the shrimps eat there own young, I imagine it is
in quite poor taste when talking to king O' the fishes.
SAMURAI #1 (of 4)
Written by Jean-Francois Di Giorgio. Illustrated by Frederic
Genet.
The recent translations Marvel has been doing with these Euro
series’ have been great so far. This series takes a nuanced
look into the mythology of the Samurai. A tale of politics,
betrayal, and finding oneself can be found in these pages.
Apparently, Samurais came from France. Who knew? Now if
someone would just translate Dylan Dog I would be a truly happy
man.
THE STAND: CAPTAIN TRIPS #1 (of 5)
Written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Illustrated by Mike
Perkins.
Based on what is arguably Stephen King’s best, or at least
most-loved, novel, The Stand will follow in the format of the
recent Dark Tower series, telling the tale as a series of
mini-series. A must for any King fan or anyone who enjoys tales
of the apocalypse.

X-MEN: MAGNETO – TESTAMENT #1 (of 5)
Written by Greg Pak. Illustrated by Carmine Di Giandomenico.
Cover by Marko Djurdjevic
This series will present the definitive origin story of one of
Marvel’s best villains, Magneto. Greg Pak has written some good
stuff for Marvel in the past few years, and the illustration
looks very atmospheric and well suited to this dark tale showing
the young protagonist’s struggles to survive against the
terrifying machinery of Hitler's Final Solution.
X-MEN: MANIFEST DESTINY #1 (of 4)
Written by Mike Carey, C.B. Cebulski, & Skottie Young.

Francisco. In each issue of this mini-series, a character will
get showcased in his or her own short story, along with the
overall unfolding story: The Iceman Cometh!!!

Magnifique" came up with a whole new concept for a wolverine
story, you'll be blown away by this clever twist where,… wait
for it… Wolverine gets angry and slashes stuff into bloody
shreds. All jesting aside this should be one of the finer
Wolverine moments this year with a sleek look and a unique
narrative voice. Worth a look for any fan of the clawed
Canuck.
WOLVERINE: ROAR
By
Deodato Jr. Duane Swierzynski
Proving that an American can write stories about Wolverine
getting mad and impersonating a food processor just as well as
any pansy ass Frenchman. A monster that destroys your
eardrums and then eats you decides to feast on some Logan
tartar, not realizing that this meal's regenerative mutant
healing factor will regrow his wounds.
Now it's the Beast vs. the feast in a no
holds barred fight for a tiny Mexican town and it's resident
taco vendors and donkey ranchers (yes this statement is
painfully bigoted, but it's okay... everyone on staff at Elfsar
really likes Mexican food)
BIG HERO 6 #1
By
Chirs Claremont and David Nakayama
Anyone else wonder how many times Claremont will try to launch a
new superhero team and fail? Or which washed up 80's/early
90's hack will finally get blacklisted from the industry first
Claremont, or Liefield. Or who will prop up the back stock in
the 50 cent bins in years to come (hint: check out the new
Marvel Apes series for this answer). Or why you came to us to
read a preview of this title featuring Japan premier superhero
team featuring a girl with a giant handbag and a not stereotyped
at all boy with a big robot and instead got this rant about
people who haven't had fresh ideas since Winnipeg had a hockey
team.
DARK TOWER TREACHERY #1
Written by Robin Furth & Peter David. Illustrated by Jae Lee &
Richard Isanove.
By
the same guys that brought you the last two amazing stories.
Speaking of early 90's scrubs who are still in the business;
might we present one
Peter David, who has actually improved with age, and
continues with this third installment of the exceptional
adaptation of the Stephen King series. Roland has become
addicted to staring at the grapefruit and his father has become
incensed at the treachery of Farsen and his Coffin Hunters.
MAGICIAN APPRENTICE VOL. 2 TP
Written by Raymond E. Feist, Michael Avon Oeming, & Bryan J.L.
Glass. Illustrated by Ryan Stegman.
Many feel that Feist’s “Krondor” books have the epic scope and
depth of character to rival those of Brooks’ “Shannara” and
“Dungeons and Dragons”. I tend to agree. So if you haven’t
yet, and you’re a fan of those kind of books, do yourself a
favour and pick up Marvel’s well-made adaptations of one of
Feist’s classic stories from the series.
NYX: WANNABE TP
Written by Joe Quesada. Illustrated by Joshua Middleton &
Robert Teranashi.
NYX was one of those titles that snuck under the radar when it
first came out in singles, no doubt due to some combination of
its chronic tardiness and the lack of Wolverine. As such, a lot
of people missed what ended up being a surprisingly well-written
look at a group of mutant kids lost in New York without any hope
of hooking up with the X-Men. Containing the first appearance
of X-23 and incredible artwork from Joshua Middleton, NYX was a
real treat for those lucky enough to read it. Thankfully,
Marvel is now releasing this series in an affordable collected
edition, so don’t miss it again.
OMEGA: THE UNKNOWN PREMIERE HC
Written by Jonathen Lethem & Karl Rusnack. Illustrated by Farel
Dalrymple & Paul Hornschemeier.
The great Jonathan Lethem brings his talents to the world of
comics! If you’ve ever read Lethem’s prose he has a huge love
for comics, and his first foray into the medium resurrects one
of his old favourites in a wonderful and poignant story about a
reluctant super hero from another planet. It’s very different
from a lot of Comics out there, but in that great way. You
can’t go wrong with this gem.
PUNISHER BY GARTH ENNIS OMNIBUS HC
Written by Garth Ennis. Illustrated by Steve Dillon, Darick
Robertson, John McCrea, & more.
All the Marvel Knights Punisher comics are reprinted here in one
giant hardcover. See Punisher force Daredevil to shoot a man!
See Punisher use Spider-Man as a human shield! See Punisher use
the Hulk as a living weapon! Good times.

HIGHLIGHTS
COSTUME T-SHIRTS
Just in time for Halloween, you can be like just like your
favourite heroes with simulated muscles!!!! Well, the
torso part at least. These shirts are pretty rad because of
their simplicity and come in a variety of styles:
Spider-man, Wolverine, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America,
Punisher, Muscle Man, and even a Ghostbuster. Awesome!
DAVID HORVATH'S 6-inch TURTLE VINYL FIGURE
Everyone needs a best friend; even the obnoxious Bossy
Bear. Horvath, co-creator of the Ugly Doll line, releases
the next figure in the popular Bossy Bear line. He is cute,
adorable, and chicks love him! Complete your collection
now, and don't forget Choco and Minty; they rock too!
The 4th Edition of D&D is a wonderful thing to
behold if you’re a long time gamer. They’ve simplified it
down to make it much easier for everybody, and if you follow
D&D then you know how big a world the Forgotten Realms are.
This guide should be great for players, and if the core
books are any indication, they will not confuse you to hell
with the grandeur that is the Forgotten Realms.
FAMILY GUY: STEWIE’S DOMINATION SERUM
What the deuce! Because there aren’t enough energy drinks
out there! Now Family guy gets a shot at the animated
series energy drink crown. Obey Stewie and drink his Energy
Serum! Do it now, damn you!
HELLBOY 2: THE GOLDEN ARMY – ANGEL OF DEATH MAQUETTE
Now this is the epitome of awesome awesomeness. Maybe it’s
because I’m a huge fan of monsters and Hellboy. I don’t
know, but this little ditty right here measures a whopping
32.5 inches!!! That’s HUGE for a statue, but presents the
angel of Death in all of its eerie glory. I mean c’mon talk
about a conversation piece!
INDIANA JONES BUST-UPS BOXED SET #1
Ever wanted to have a little bust of Raiders of the Lost
Ark’s Major Toht displayed on your desk? What about the
evil Mola Ram from The Temple of Doom? And what about that
newest action hero to grace our screens, Crystal Skull’s
Henry “Mutt” Williams? Well, now you can own all three in
one boxed set! The set also contains an
archaeologist-turned-adventurer named Indiana Jones. Maybe
you’ve heard of him?
SANDMAN AND DEATH T-SHIRT
How would you feel about life if Death was your older
sister? It is a good existential question, and one that, if
you wear this shirt, everybody you meet will be asking
themselves for a long time. Featuring Chris Bachalo’s art,
this is a must for Sandman fans.
STAR TREK: COMMUNICATORAND PHASER 2 PACK

about it no more as Diamond releases a handy two-pack of
these trusted tools for your ease of mind. Now, if only we

Now for those long hard nights where you’re beating away at
the computer working and just need a few words to keep you
going, Darth Vader will be there to offer you sound advice
mixed in with a little heavy breathing. It’s funny cause we
have a Darth Vader at the store which we to for advice
sometimes, now you can have one too.
STAR WARS: MIGHTY MUGGS 2008 PREVIEWS EXCLUSIVE 6-IN FIGURES
By now you’ve probably heard of a little item called Mighty
Muggs that are flying off the shelves wherever they are
sold. Now Previews is offering 2 exclusives of these highly
collectible figures: Admiral Ackbar and a Shadow Trooper,
which is a storm trooper only cooler, cause well you know,
cool guys wear black. Get ‘em while they’re hot! But more
to the point, while you can.
VAGABOND SCULPTURE ARTS – MUSASHI
Another beauty offered this month is this statue. There are
not enough great samurai statues out there and if you must
own just one, who better than the legend himself Miyamoto
Musashi. This statue depicts him before he became the
respected sword master he is known as today and rather as
the wild untamed youth. If you like what you see also check
out the Vagabond manga, which is pretty darn good.
VOLTRON: LION FORCE GIFT SET
Voltron is back baby! From Devil's Due origin mini-series
to the upcoming Movie, dive back into your childhood with

THE WALKING DEAD: ICK TORSO STATUETTE
Are you a Fan of Robert Kirkman's Walking Dead series, or
just a zombie fan? It's okay, you can admit it. We are all
geeks here. Previously an internet exclusive from CS Moore
Studios, at 1/9 scale, 4 1/4 inches tall, Ick is a fully
painted limited edition, brilliant piece of decaying, flesh
eating, ghoulish, zombie statuette. I think I'll put this
one next to my computer at work. Hopefully now no one will
steal my stapler.
WATCHMEN MOVIE: ACTION FIGURE SERIES 2
The movie hasn't even come out yet and the buzz is already
at a speeding locomotive pace, with no chance of slowing
down. Series 2 showcases such popular characters as: Silk
Spectre, The Comedian, Dr. Manhattan, and Nite Owl. Each
figure features multiple points of articulation and a base.
