Search FAQ:
Q: What is the difference
between ALL WORDS, ANY WORD and EXACT PHRASE in
the 'Search Type:'?
A: ALL WORDS - the results will include ALL
the words entered but not necessarily that order. For
example if you search for "SUPERMAN ADVENTURES" your search will
include all products with both the words ADVENTURES and
SUPERMAN in the product description (i.e. Adventures of Superman,
Superman Adventures).
ANY WORD - the results will include
ANY of the words entered. For example if you search
for "SUPERMAN ADVENTURES" your search will include all product
with either the word SUPERMAN or ADVENTURES in the
product description (i.e. Superman, Adventures of Superman,
Adventures of the DCU, etc.).
EXACT PHRASE - the results will
include only the exact words entered. For example if you
search for "SUPERMAN ADVENTURES" your search will include
only the products with exactly SUPERMAN ADVENTURES in
the product description (i.e. Superman Adventures etc.). This is
ideal if you know exactly what the item your looking is called.
Great for particular issue numbers.
Q: I am still having a
hard time finding what I am looking for, is there any other way
to search for product?
A: Yes, you can also select a particular
category in the search menu. By combining the
'In Category:'
search with the 'Search Type:' (described above) you should be able
to refine your search.
The available categories are:
Graphic Novels. - Trade Paperbacks, Hard Covers,
Art Books.
Manga and Other Books.
Comics. - Single Issues, Story Arc Sets. New, Old
and Rare Comics.
Magazines & Guide Books. - Comic & Toy Price Guides. Art,
Pop Culture & Fan Magazines.
Toys & Models. - Action Figures, PVC, Imports,
Exclusives. Collectible Statues, Limited Edition Busts.
Novelties. - Key Chains, Nick-knacks,
Keychains, Plushes, Bobble Heads, Hot Wheels. Stand Ups
and Other Misc Toys.
Gaming. - Role Playing Games, Miniatures, Collectible
Card Games. Board Games and Other Card Products.
Clothing. - Comic, Animation Movie and Pop Culture Related T-Shirts.
Baseball Caps and Other Apparel.
Art & Prints. - Original Art Work, Posters, Prints,
Lithographs, Animation Cells.
Audio Video. - DVD, Video Tapes, CD Roms and Music.
Comic & Art Supplies. - Storage Boxes,
Protective Bags and Boards.
Drawing Paper, Pens, Toner Sets.
In addition the 'Max Price:' is also available if you are
looking for product within a certain price range.
